These instructions are for people who have already set up an account on the Alice app. If you have not done so, please click here for more detailed instructions!

  1. Write down your new and old gauge IDs so you have them handy for the next steps

  2. Connect your new gauge to WiFi on an iOS device or an Android device

  3. Enter your new gauge ID in your app by clicking on the menu button in the upper left corner, then selecting “Add a New Gauge”

4. Email support@myalice.com and ask to remove your old gauge ID from your account

5. Remove your old Alice gauge from your tank and screw in the new gauge with your hands (DO NOT USE A PIPE WRENCH; it will damage the threads of the gauge.) We recommend using a step stool if you have one, so that you are looking down at the tank, rather than reaching up.

If your old gauge used an adaptor and you cannot remove the adaptor from the tank, don’t worry! Just remove the adaptor from your new gauge and snap the new gauge into the adaptor still on your tank.
