Alice will read the level of your oil tank every six hours. If you want to take a manual reading between those six hours, or when you first set up your gauge, follow these steps.
Step 1
Tap on the button once and release; see if the light blinks only once. If so, repeat the single tap and release until the light blinks more than once after you release the button. That indicates Alice is connecting to WiFi and taking a reading of your tank level.
Step 2
You should now see the most recent tank level reading in your Alice app.
