Congratulations! You’ve taken the first step towards being able to monitor your home heating oil usage. When you create an account on the Alice app, the app will guide you through the setup and installation process, or you can follow along below.

  1. Insert a AA battery into the top of your Alice 4 gauge (If you have an Alice 3 gauge, insert the battery included in the box).

  2. First time customers: go to your App store and search for Alice Metrics (NOT Alice Gauge or My Alice) to download the Alice App. Create a new account. You can also create your new account by going to www.myalice.com and click on Log In. Follow the directions to create a new account.
    If you are a returning customer, open your Alice app and click on the Menu in the top left corner (three horizontal lines). On the Menu screen, click on “Add a New Gauge”.

  3. Address: This is the address at which the oil tank is located

    1. Enter your Alice Gauge ID to connect that gauge to your Alice account

    2. Select your tank type

    3. Enter setup mode. Then Connect your gauge to your WiFi on an iOS device or an Android device

  4. Install Alice on your tank

  5. Take a manual reading
